Just a Thought — Robots vs. La Raza: As robotization takes hold (as in Amazon’s warehouses) and machines start to perform low-skilled jobs a) it will become increasingly obvious — from the masses of unemployed — that American doesn’t really need more unskilled immigrant labor; and b) employers like Amazon will have less incentive to lobby for that unskilled immigrant labor. They have their robots, after all. Upshot: Time is maybe not on the side of Rep. Gutierrez and the La Raza-centered lobby for unimpeded immigration of less skilled workers from Latin America and elsewhere. The coming amnesty/borders debate could be their last shot ….

Let us hope that the American people will finally wake up and insist that we stop bringing in unneeded new people by the millions.
