0 PS: “Restorative justice” is an alternative (or supplement) to traditional criminal punishment. It often involves the offender meeting with the victim. https://t.co/j9ESpwpG9h 42% is still a big rise, though. If accurate, wouldn’t seem to be a sign of success for Boudin. https://t.co/j6O5LriE85

0 It’s as if you build an addition to your house. Your neighbor says it’s illegal and sues. Neighbor gets injunction, so the addition is removed–but you appeal. Then the court says you can’t live in your house (additionless!) unless you drop the appeal. Seems crazy & coercive.

0 Twitter’s “appeal” process: Coulter’s tweet is deleted. It will stay deleted while she appeals. What is rationale for not letting her tweet while she awaits the verdict-ie saying she can resume tweeting only if she *drops* her appeal? Would never pass muster in judicial system. https://t.co/r70f6u3WnL

0 Important figure in what someone–maybe Kinsley–called Pigfucker Culture–as in greeting an important lawyer or Senator: ‘You old pigfucker.” I also remember, “Everytime you’re here the cockroaches start coming out of the walls.” No longer pretentious enough for #thistown https://t.co/Pxieblf8SM
