Ridiculous @theDailyBeast story attempts to slime a local right winger because he “tried to push [a] story” that was, um, TRUE. But his “ties…include people close to…Alex Jones.” Good grief. I have ties to people close to Alex Jones (ie I know people who know Patrick Howley).

I’m told the Harris campaign is telling journalists, off the record, that there is no kid. But they don’t respond to questions about whether there was a pregnancy or a financial settlement with the teacher–let alone, I assume, an NDA. That’s one way to try to control the story.

Emhoff boasts in press his goal is to “be there for Cole and Ella and her family. … ” Because one thing you can do for your children is have an affair with a popular teacher at their school that causes her to leave her job! Kids never talk or tease about things like that. https://t.co/6ZnEUl01fy

.@washingtonpost doesn’t mention the pregnancy either. It’s an MSM blockade! It means there is something about the pregnancy they (Kamala boosters) are worried about. Is it the possibility of an abortion? Or a secret Emhoff love child? ‘Burying the lede’-this is erasing the lede https://t.co/XAmg3ZgIVh

Editors: If it’s relevant to the election to profile Emhoff in your publication (typically in an absurdly positive light), this story is relevant too. If readers need to know the good details about him, they should also be told the bad details.

The more you think about it, the more inadequate this statement is. Emhoff is accused of (while married) getting a teacher at his kids’ school pregnant, causing her to lose her job, with an unknown fate for the pregnancy.
His response is that he “went through some tough times.” https://t.co/2C4gv1frNw

Emhoff’s statement raises obvious questions:
1) Was there a pregnancy? (Presumably yes but he doesn’t admit it)
2) If there was a pregnancy what happened to the baby? Adoption? Abortion?
3) Was there a settlement with the nanny/teacher-did it involve money? Did it involve an NDA? https://t.co/2C4gv1frNw— Mickey Kaus (@kausmickey)
