Marco Rubio strikes me as a classic Florida con man type: glib, good looking, more into ‘quick scores’ than hard work. Rather than rein in the often awful for profit education industry, he wants to loosen accreditation further. For profit edu has been very profitable for politicians, especially Republicans. The government is starting to pay for some coding boot camps and MOOCs.
