@kausmickey I don’t think there is a lick of evidence that the issue would have been avoided if @realDonaldTrump had not brought it up.

@kausmickey Trump is very effective talking immigration. But he needs a guy who’ll tell him to not get into petty stuff (i.e. Megan Kelly).

No, I don’t think thats it. Illegal immigration is symbol, a big one, that the GOP establishment is untrustworthy. Trump supporters like that he was blunt about it but they also like that he goes after the other candidates groveling to get money. He’ll have lots more to say on that and specific. Why did Lehman Bros. hire Jeb Bush and John Kasich and give them millions? Not because they knew anything much about investment banking.
Also, voters see the disingenuousness of the Republicans. Why didn’t they defund Planned Parenthood when Bush was president and they had both House and Senate. Because of the filibuster? Thats lame if they really cared about abortion. Its not in the constitution and the Democrats had no trouble fixing the filibuster for their interests.
Why didn’t they pass a constitutional amendment against gay marriage? It would have gone through easily in 2005 after Bush won Ohio on it. More than enough states passed laws or state const. amendments.

@kausmickey Other issues?, eg help veterans, pander issue. Reg military & retired have TriCare med insurance HIGH $$, pols afraid to change
