@kausmickey
In which Brooks says the idea of building a wall with 20th century technology is “unworkable”.
@kausmickey @genophilia Why does NYT continue to falsely insist Brooks is a conservative?
@kausmickey Mr. Kaus. It would be interesting for you to inform people about David Brooks. A little biography, maybe?
Un- vs skilled isn’t topic David Brooks et al will ‘happily debate’.
Non-HS grads vs PhD’s; all are *great!*.
Case’s closed!
@kausmickey
@kausmickey who are you? Most repulsive person with the most repulsive views except for your hero the anti-semitic COULTER! Congrats!
@kausmickey The same arguments apply to skilled labor. Just screwing over people a little higher on the economic ladder. “happily debate”?
@kausmickey Not too concerned though. GOPe always traded the undocumented dems for the H1B visas. Dems won’t give em one w/o other.
@kausmickey All businesses want higher profits. Lower cost labor increases profits. Increased immigration increases labor supply.
@kausmickey US Gov has failed to control immigration (legal & illegal), thus allowing businesses to have unfettered access to cheap labor.
@kausmickey The US Gov should provide a balance to protect its citizens against unfettered supply of cheap labor.
