I love Reagan (of course), but amazing how his passage of no-fault divorce (conservative??) immigration ‘reform’ (conservative??) and massively increased govt spending is always glossed over at the Church of Reagan.
He was a great president, but the funhouse in which Rich Lowry and co. reside has now taken on a cult-like patina, replete with purity tests involving imbibing gallons of Kool-Aid, per adherent, to ‘prove’ you’re one of them,
Purity tests. You obviously don’t read NRO. If anything they didn’t to go in too many direction like their three-way Endorsement of Romney, Santorum, and Huntsman. It is more remarkable the pro-abortion, anti-creationist, talk radio John Derbyshire was with the publication than he was fired for one of his less controversial writings. (Basically it said that there was a lot of crime in theblack community..)
