@DouthatNYT @kausmickey More powerful if Washington and Roosevelt added to that mix cuz Trump definitely walks in the footsteps of giants

@kausmickey @TimSteve357 Lincoln’s mistakes gave us “the black problem” we have to this day.

@hall_brendano @kausmickey Lincoln wanted to send them all back to Africa. We were in trouble when we first brought them over.

@kausmickey I would accept an entirely obscure person who knows ‘only’ how to mix concrete and perform rudimentary project management.

@TimSteve357 @kausmickey This is true. But Lincoln put them on the road to full citizenship.

@hall_brendano @kausmickey True, he did what was expedient. Not a big fan of Lincoln. But Ann’s analogy still works.

@kausmickey Note the over-the-top dishonesty of saying DT has made no mistakes up to now. Even Ann’s dishonesty has to be over the top.

Lincoln’s VP pick was also new to me – interesting. Coulter’s assertion that the House will impeach Trump if there’s an acceptable Beltway careerist as his VP is just trying to tilt the VP playing field to a strong anti-Open Borders cheap labor non-careerist. Someone once noted that Coulter makes her prez choices on just 1 factor. She was a big Romney supported, never mind as MA governor he was mostly a centrist Dem in his governance. RomneyCare. Government-does-good-stuff, etc. “Self-deport” remark – and Coulter falls in love!

@kausmickey This makes me really sad. You are a smart person I frequently listened to and read and respected!! Wow… 🙁
