I figured by (ironically!) repeating the same ‘Are we still talking about this’ objection to a Trump/Russia tweet as is made to Talarico/flu skeptics (see the previous tweet) it would dramatically point out to Dems how cheap that sort of attempt to shutdown discussion is. Nobody’s read it this way. A failed experiment. Never mind! Of course Sen. Whitehouse and anyone should be able to speculate about Trump and Putin (even after Mueller). I’ve always thought there is still a mystery there.
